The financial criris has created a series of unanticipated country risks. Countries that were previously classified as "low risk" politically, are being downgraded to "moderate risk" as a result of civil unrest due to the high prices of commodities, directly related to the financial crisis. Clients relying on rating agencies need to update their risk assessment. The Fezembat group is conducting research on this subject which will be available to clients by the end of June. Clients in the "beta testing" category will have access to this research at the end of March.
