![]() Dr. Frannie Léautier Frannie Léautier is currently Managing Partner of The Fezembat Group. Previously, she was Vice President at the World Bank, heading the World Bank Institute. She has held several positions during her 15 years at the World Bank Group including as Chief of Staff for the President, Sector Director for Infrastructure in South Asia and Director for the Infrastructure Group. Dr. Léautier has published a number of articles in top-tier journals and magazines; she has also edited three books, including a recent one on Cities in a Globalizing World. She is currently Founding Editor for the Journal of Infrastructure Systems, Advisory Board Member for the MIT Open Course Ware, and Secretary of the Board for the Nelson Mandela Institute for Science and Technology in Africa. Frannie is a charter member of the Advisory Board for EuropEFE and a founding Board member for the Africa Institute for Governing with Integrity. Frannie holds a Ph.D. in Infrastructure Systems and a Master of Science in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is also a graduate from the Harvard Business School Executive Development Program. In her spare time, she teaches at top tier universities around the world, including MIT and Sciences Po Paris as well as at leading research centres such as NECSI.
